1. Theory for welding stress and deformation and their meanings:
During welding, elements of welding structure are not heated uniformly at Þ temperature, resulting in stress and deformation.
Changes in stress and deformation may happen continuously, depending on heat transmission and temperature balance.

1. Mechanical properties:
They are mechanical features showing impact resistance of metal or alloy against all loads, including:
a. Strength
b. Hardness

This method is known as metal arc welding in shielding gas environment, or commonly called wire or CO2 welding, or internationally called GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding).
