 Characterics on Usage:    
   
  • GM-70S is a solid wire with godd arc stability at wide range of current especially low current ranges (short-circuiting arc range) and its spatter loss is low. 
  • It's suitable for all-position welding steel sheets by CO2 or Ar+CO2 mixture gas shielding, for higher speeding welding.

Usage introduction:

  • Flow rate of shielding gas (CO2) should be 20l/min generally.
  • Flow rate of shielding gas shoulde be 25-30l/min under the condition of 2m/sec wind speed and use wind screen under the condition of over 2m/sec wind speed..
  • In vertical downward welding, wire should be held at an angle slightly more than a horizontal.
  • Keep the distance between tip and base-metal within 10-20mm at less than 300A welding current and within 20-25mm at over 300A.
  • Optinum arc voltage should be selected in accordance with welding current to maintain stable tip transfer mode. If voltage is too high or too low, dip transfer frequency will decrease..
