1. Characterics on Usage:

  • GH600 is made by covered metal-facing to ensure achieve immediately the high abrasion resistibility over 55HRC. Only with tempered thermal treatment on oild, the hardness can be upto 65HRC - Ideal hardness of mechanical field.
  • GH600 is a base type covered electrode with Flour as main elements so GH600 contains a low Hydro, impurities, with Martensitic bases added some precious alloyed elements such as: Cr, Molipden. So GH600 has weld bead with good hardness, good corrosion and abrasion resistibility and high impact toughness.
  • GH600 is welded for all positions, have stable arc, strong propulsive force, gathered weld, easy slag removal, suitable perfect even and flat appearance.
  • For the welding of over 500 N/mm2 medium tensile strength carbon and alloyed steel for shipbuilding, steel constructions, bridges, pressure tub, girder bearing heavy loading capacity …

6. Usage introduction: 

  • Well preparation for safety before welding. Power stable.
  • The best hardness is from the second weld-layer. Don’t choose the high current in order to get weld bead with shallow penatration and blended with metal of welded object.
  • With damp welding electrode, it will be smoky, splashy and unstably. Re-dry at over 200oC 40-60 mins before using.
  • Clean all of dirty such as: oil, slag sticked on the surface of welding objects.
  • Arc should be kept as short as possible during welding
