1. Characterics on Usage:     
   
  • KT 421 is a titania type covered electrode for welding all positions.
  • KT-421 is a low carbon welding electrode suitable for Carbon steel and low carbon steel such as civil and industrial structure, machinery..
  • Weld bead is smooth, shinny, easy-slag-removable, clean-slag-detecting, it’s few smoke and spatter; the quatity of weld’s joint is unchanged when using lower current,
  • Striking-arc is good, the time of stopping for re-striking arc is less than 60 seconds.

6. Usage introduction:

  • Well preparation for safety before welding. Power stable.
  • With damp welding electrode, it will be smoky, splashy and unstably. Re-dry at 100-150oC 40-60 mins before using.
  • Wash all of dirty such as: oil, slag on welding material.
  • Ensure the root rap and bevel angel according to standards in order to get the completed fusion.
  • Chose the suitable welding current as user manual for a complete fusion, good running
